Very rare and scarce gesneriad that grow in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A magnificent gesneriad, with very beautiful campanulate flowers. Being cultivated from 1870, after which it become lost in culture.
The young plants have a beautiful leaf pattern, which slowly fades out as the plant ages.
It's easy to grow and will be a great piece of conversation in your plant collection.
